Using the Name Template Update in Facebook Ads Manager

Facebook’s new tool allows for using templates to name your campaigns, ads, and adsets.

This is a huge assistance to collecting data in a formatted manner.

Most likely this will assist with Facebook’s new Attribution tool but for users who are using Adobe Analytics or other analytics software it means campaign details can be uniformed and outside analysis can be cleaner with consistent date.

To use Faceboook’s Name Templates for Campaigns, Ad Sets and Ads simply start by filling in dynamic pieces of content similar from the drop down:

Under each Section Campaign: there are 3 predefined Settings : Objective, ID, and Budget.

From their a custom text can be added so the user can enter in some custom text such as Summer_2019
